Roads are in good condition from shillong to this place. Few shops available here, parking facilities available with parking charge, charge taken by villagers. you will find a lot of peace in the lap of nature here with amazing views of mountains and a fall which is approx 100 meter in lenth. It's very scary to go downstairs as there is no stairs available.

Quite a rare tourist spot in shillong. The roads leading to the spot is narrow and a bit confusing but its worth it. The area is still developing as a tourist spots so its a bit dusty in the view point area. The waterfalls is quite a climb down a hill that too without any steps or proper road, so not recommended for old people. But I hope it will be more developed in years to come and at least a pathway will be constructed to go near the waterfalls.

Located at Happy Valley - 10 Km from Shillong city – Has to travel through a Military zone – Locally called ‘Kshaid Weitden’ – Height 96 metres (315 ft) – Tourists not allowed to go closer - Has to view from distance (about 500 mts) – Two rows of gallery erected for this - Highly dangerous to attempt trekking as the area near the fall is very treacherous – Many deaths reported – No shops or other establishments - Tourists scant- No rescue men or guards in the vicinity - Entry gate about 1 km behind – no human presence when moving further. Compared to other water falls in Meghalaya, Sweet Falls can't be said attractive and spectacular, but it is an experience to reach there and spend some time in isolation.

There are many 'Falls' in Meghalaya. Sweet Falls is one of those. But this Falls is different from others. Firstly, this place is very lonely. Secondly, the approach road is narrow. Thirdly, most car drivers try to avoid this place. Fourthly, there is no security personnel and no stall. But if you go there, the scenic beauty and Sweet Falls will certainty sweeten your mind.

Nice Falls but the area is highly un motarable and plus its quite dangerous the scenes around the fall is just majestic to the eyes.There is no security near the falls .
